Site Selection and Real Estate Assistance

In addition to a large community of private brokers and related real estate services, the City of Portland and partners offer a variety of real estate and construction services. These include site selection assistance, brownfield remediation, and development and permitting assistance. In addition to resources for new development, Portland offers a variety of assistance and incentives for redevelopment, retrofits, and green building services. The city offers a hotline (503-823-5431) and online resource center for green building services and publishes the Green Tenant Improvement Guide. Through the Portland Development Commission, there are opportunities for real estate improvements in select neighborhoods through the Storefront Improvement Program, the Development Opportunity Services grant, and Business Finance programs.
